The historical shop named "al soldatino modellismo" was done in early 70s from mr. Ripamonti, who started import some of the main static model firms from United Kingdom, where all this started.
In 1978 the crew grow up and the "golden age" of modelling was in progress.
Was in those years we saved and refurbished the DELTA 2 company and created a very special range of photo etched micro detail set named R.C.R.
Even in the 80s the shop was the base of the most important and winning italian Model group, the CMPR Milano, and our showcase become a permanent expo available inside our walls for our customers.
The quality of the models shown inside "al soldatino" showcase become famous all around italy, much more than the boxes for sale, easy to find everywhere.
Even AMIS Milano club was brn from a branch of the main modelling club, and also they are from our shop.
In 1998 the old staff passed teh company to the new owners, continuing the work with the same passion of the foundators, even in a difficult market as today one is.
From 2006 the old location in Viale Umbria was abandoned for a brand new shop very near to our previous place.
Even today the name "al soldatino" means quality and still owns the respect of all the italian modelling community.
During our administration we have noted also a growing request for high quality finished models, so today we can provide a special SERVICE.
